as the beautifully wise japanese saying goes, cha-zen ichimi or zen and tea have the same flavour.

when your creative life is taken from you
what does it feel like to watch someone else live your life online?
when my work. years of photographs, exhibitions, and personal moments was reposted under another name, i had to confront the strange reality of authorship in the digital age. this is that story.
nature practising kintsugi
i grew up being taught that cracks were mistakes. deviations from the drawing. something to measure, assess, correct. but somewhere between building sites and travelling alone at eighteen, i began to wonder if perfection was not the only truth. in japan, i encountered kintsugi. the honouring of fracture. and something in me recognised it.
now years later, after hurt and silence and time, my feelings returned. through mother nature. petals in stone. earth mending itself.
this is about architecture.
but it is also about softness.
about the art of continuing. with flowers.
my truth about warmth
my work is not about decorating reality. it’s about witnessing it. that means sometimes the images feel quieter. sometimes cooler. but they last longer. they ask you to stay with them. they hold tension, atmosphere, and honesty. so this is an invitation and also a boundary. if you are drawn to real light, natural tones, and photographs that respect place and moment, then i’m grateful you’re here. i appreciate you deeply.
colour is a feeling
colour is never universal. we all experience it differently and meet it through out own memory. our own sensitivity.
primary colours speak loudly. red wants to be felt. blue wants to be known. yellow wants to shine. sometimes I turn to quieter colours, to black and white, to light and shadow, so the feeling can arrive softly and stay.
living inside something rare
i try to move through this time by intuition. i believe in timing, in the quiet intelligence of life arranging itself beyond what i can see. i trust that i am always being guided to exactly where i’m meant to be, even when the path doesn’t make sense yet.
secrecy is a form of care
secrecy, to me, isn’t about exclusion or gatekeeping. it’s about respect. some places can’t survive being broadcast. attention changes behavior, and too much of it can hollow out what made something special in the first place. when beauty is constantly consumed, it stops feeling alive and starts feeling used.
my essence in light
to those who see me, who welcome my art and my eye exactly as i am. thank you. your trust and acceptance are what allow me to create with openness, honesty and love, both in my work and in my life.
between lens and language
i have observed how some people believe you can only be one thing. a photographer. a writer. a painter. as if creativity needs to be boxed into categories, as if our own intuition and vision must choose a single form.
i met myself in the sky
i met myself in the sky ——— my younger self, shyer and quieter, flying solo for the first time. she was sitting by the window, lost in a dream, her hands wrapped around my camera, holding it like a secret she was starting to unfold. the steady rhythm of the plane beneath us was a quiet feeling somewhere between fear and freedom.
